Bio: My name is Mike Anderson. I am a Marine. I help support my brothers, the Grunts. I have been a Marine for quite some time.
I am a Christian, but I am not perfect. My life has taken many twists and turns getting from 1964 to here.
I have been married twice, my current marriage is going on close to 20 years and I love my wife. I have 4 children, 3 of which are teenagers.
I made many of the mistakes growing up that we all do when we think we know better than our parents. I tried drugs, drank alchohol, and generally was very rebellious. I wish I could take back those things, that I did wrong... don't we all?
Fortunately, Christ offers us forgiveness if we turn to him, acknowledge him and ask forgiveness. He paid the price for all of our sins when he died on Calvary. Thank goodness his love and mercy afford me the chance to be reconciled with him.
Reconciled however, doesn't mean perfect. If you are looking for a perfect person, I am not him. I still wrestle with anger, foul language, and other issues. Again, thank goodness for grace and mercy.
I am rough around the edges. Tattooed, bald, sometimes grumpy, always pugnacious. But, my heart belongs to Him. Although he has brought me a long way, there is a long road before me until I am conformed to His image.
Please accept me as I am as I work towards my goal of becoming more Christlike. I am trying hard to change every day.
Interests: My hobbies include scuba diving, hiking, skydiving, cross-country running, and many more things. I love aviation and aviation history. And I am gratefull for the chance to serve you and our great nation as a Marine.
