Topic: Linking Up
Our family doesn't have a problem with Santa (St. Nicholas)... he was a Christian after-all. We follow the tradition that my husband grew up with and open gifts on Christmas eve, and stockings on Christmas morning. Gifts are from family and friends, while items in stockings are left unwrapped and are from "Santa" --i.e. the giver shall remain nameless. Our children are 12 through almost 18 and none of them believe a round jolly guy with a flowing white beard squeezes through our make believe chimney to fill those stockings. They still enjoy our family traditions, though :-)
Besides, if NORAD things the big guy is worth keeping an eye on, don't ya think you should too?! LOL....
