Train Up A Child Thursday was an idea for a meme I had at my blog because I couldn't find other Christ-centered meme's for parenting. The jist of "Train up a child" Thursday was all about sharing on one day a week, Thursdays, what I was doing specifically to teach my children about Christ and the Bible and then posting it on my blog to share with others. It didn't have to be extravagant or way out there. Jesus wasn't like that anyway! Several people joined me randomly in the meme. Our very first "Train up a child" Thursday event was teaching my children about loving people through the gift of food. That afternoon when school was over, we prepared a meal for a friend of ours who had been very ill and just had surgery. We took it to her and just enjoyed the fellowship.
